Description

The HI766B3 is a small surface K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A cable extends 1 m (3.3’) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter. The spring-loaded, 5 mm diameter surface of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of small surfaces.

The Small Surface K-Type Thermocouple Probe with Handle – HI766B3 is designed to measure the temperature of small surfaces that may be difficult to measure with traditional temperature probes. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI766B3 surface construction offers a speedy 6-second response for a temperature reading. With an insulated shaft constructed from strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 200°C (390°F).
