A lightweight, and durable fabric, Tychem® 2000 fabric provides at least 30 minutes of protection against >40 chemical challenges. Tychem® 2000 is used for light splash protection in a variety of industrial environments, including petroleum refining, pulp and paper manufacturing, food processing, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Multiple interlocking threads are sewn around the raw edges of garment material to create a strong, stress-resistant seam

Light liquid splash protection coverall. Used extensively in the petroleum; pulp and paper; food and chemical processing; and pharmaceutical industries. Tychem^® 2000 is polyethylene-coated Tyvek^® fabric Flexible, durable and lightweight. Tychem^® 2000 provides at least 30 minutes of protection against >40 chemical challenges. When used with other PPE, can help reduce the risk of cross-contamination in pandemic preparedness activities. Meets ASTM F1670 and ASTM F1671 tests, offering bloodborne pathogen protection.

The garment shall be constructed of DuPont™ Tyvek® 400– a patented flash-spun polyethylene fabric — in the front and DuPont™ ProShield® 10 — a spun-bond, meltblown, sun-bond (SMS) nonwoven in the back.
The garment shall be white in color in the front and denim blue in color in the back.
